Join us for this exciting book signing with the author of Improv Quilting, Irene Roderick. This book appeals to beginning and advanced quilters who are looking for a new creative and artistic method of quilt design and construction. A handbook for quilters who want to expand their skills and make unique, personal expressions instead of following traditional quilt methods. Irene will also share techniques on the machine she has at home, the Q20!

About the Author

Irene Roderick has been an artist for most of her life. She has painted and crafted for more than fifty years. In 2015, she fell in love with quilting and now focuses exclusively on this craft. Her quilts have been the subject of solo and traveling exhibitions and have won many awards including first place at QuiltCon 2020 in the Improv category. Her work can also be seen in magazines such as Curated Quilts and Simply Moderne. Irene runs workshops showcasing her unique technique she calls “dancing with the wall.”  She lives right here in Austin, Texas!
