Bernina USA expert Betty Stoltenberg will be in Austin on March 30 and 31 to present this unique two-day event.

This is a great opportunity to learn how to successfully handle even the most challenging fabrics and projects.  Discover how to choose the correct feet, needles and stitches to sew on leather, chiffon, cork, knits, silks and even faux fur!  You will be inspired to expand your repertoire while you sew on new Bernina 790 and 590 machines.  No matter what your skill level, or which sewing machine you own, you will learn dozens of new methods as you complete your own BERNINA ACADEMY Techniques Notebook. You will also take home a BERNINA USB stick with project inspiration and instructions that you can reference every time you sit down to sew.  We guarantee that you will leave excited about using your new-found knowledge which will re-ignite your love of sewing!

About the instructor, Betty Stoltenberg

Betty feels very fortunate that she has been able to take her passion of all things BERNINA and turn it into a second career. She has been selected to be a member of the BERNINA Event Team, Longing for a Longarm Team and Q series tradeshow team. She loves being able to share her knowledge and love for BERNINA to help people choose the right machine for them.

She recently added teaching Q-matic classes to her repertoire. Betty enjoys seeing the spark in her student’s eyes when they realize they love their machine just as much as she does.
